Bricksmart brings together data from public registers and open government sources, and augments it with our own models and analysis. We believe in being transparent about where our data comes from, so we credit our sources here and carry the copyright and licensing acknowledgements each one requires.
Where our data comes from
Property and ownership data is provided by HM Land Registry.
Company, director and beneficial-ownership data is provided by Companies House.
Energy performance data is provided by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG).
Insolvency, probate and other statutory notices are provided by The Gazette.
Planning data is drawn from local-authority planning registers, and neighbourhood and demographic statistics from the Office for National Statistics.
